He has been performing refractive surgery (RK and PRK) since the early 1990's and LASIK since June of 1999.ĭr. Ross is an experienced surgeon and performs cataract surgery, and refractive surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, South Carolina Society of Ophthalmology, South Carolina Medical Association, and the Florence County Medical Society.ĭr. Ross completed his residency in ophthalmology in 1984 at UNC Chapel Hill.ĭr. Mark Ross received his undergraduate training at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York and his Doctorate in medicine from Georgetown University Medical Center in 1977 where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
